Easter at First
UMC Alabaster

Palm Sunday | March 29

8:30 & 11:00 AM | Restore (Champions Craft Academy Auditorium)

Palm Sunday commemorates the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and begins the series of observances focusing on the events of Holy Week. Both Palm Sunday services will begin with a palm procession featuring any kids who want to participate.

Maundy Thursday | April 2

6:30 PM | Fellowship Hall

Maundy Thursday marks the day Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples, celebrating the Passover and giving them a new commandment. We will gather in our Fellowship Hall for a service of Holy Communion and foot-washing, reflecting on Christ’s call to love one another as He has loved us. Nursery will be available.

Good Friday | April 3

6:30 PM | Fellowship Hall

Friday of Holy Week, known as Good Friday, invites us into the solemn story of Jesus’ suffering and crucifixion. Join us in our Fellowship Hall for a service focusing on Jesus's final words with music, scripture readings, and reflection. The service will conclude in darkness, marking the somberness of this sacred night and preparing our hearts for the hope of Easter. Nursery will be available.

Easter Sunday | April 5

8:30 & 11:00 AM | Restore (Champions Craft Academy Auditorium)

Come worship the risen Savior with us on Easter Sunday at one of our two Sunday morning services. Join us at our 8:30 Modern Worship service featuring upbeat music from our Praise Band or at our 11:00 Traditional Worship service featuring more liturgy and our music led by our Chancel Choir. There will be no kids or youth Sunday school, so that’s a good time to take pictures at our flower cross. Bring some flowers of your ow to add.
